grand opening the found cottage mercantile

At The Market

February 9, 2019

today is the day! we are opening the found cottage mercantile in hudsonville! we have had this empty space in the store for over three years and it was literally falling apart. we tossed around idea after idea on what to do with it. finally we decided to expand what we love. antiques!

we hired three different builders before finally finding the amazing team to update and finish our building. we have new floors and walls, fresh paint and safe electrical. it was a labor of love but here we are about 1 year from our start date with a beautiful building filled with stunning antiques.

in liz and i’s booth at the mercantile we went for a bit of a darker toned walls to really make the floral paintings pop. we stocked mirrors and taxidermy, large apothecary cabinets and more.

the floors are swept, the booths filled with trophies, mirrors, paintings and linens and we are ready top open today at 10am. i’m so excited for your to come see the new space! It will be open the same hours as the found cottage and restocked daily with new antiques and vintage. i’ll see you all at 10am but in the meantime here are some sneak peaks of the new shop!
