The Found Cottage Mercantile Market

House & Home

August 30, 2017

in between pumping and feedings and diaper changes we at the shop have been working all summer on one of the most amazing mercantile markets i’ve ever seen. and…. it’s coming up this weekend (friday and saturday). i cannot believe the amazing artists, boutiques and pickers we have coming from all over the states to set up mind blowing displays and kick off the labor day weekend.

i’ve been secretly making my own shopping list as we see their display pictures being posted on the event page. (check more out here)  we had so many amazing people apply but limited it to 150 vendors of different varieties (home decor, food, clothing, vintage, antiques and more). this has been so so much work and it couldn’t have been done without having business partners. this summer did not go as i had planned (and that is what i get for trying to plan) but with otto’s additional health issues it’s been a journey for sure. but we are finding the balance and with the help of joe and my mom i get to be at the market all weekend to see and help out with the final result.
