finally friday the mercantile edition

House & Home

May 19, 2017

happy friday! i’m so excited for the weekend to be here. we’ve been working away every night to get the found cottage ready for our fun event this weekend. we partnered with our friends john and cat from vintage salvation to stock the old found cottage location FULL of cool unique vintage finds. dough bowls, seltzer bottles, corbels and more. really unique high end finds from all over the world. i need you all to come and stop me from buying the kilim pillows. they’re amazing.

ps. this event can be found on facebook under the found cottage mercantile. note: the september 1 event is going to be a huge market!

tonight we are having food trucks out and the main store will be open until 9pm for everybody but those who were able to snag tickets are coming to shop early at the mercantile. tomorrow the old store will be open to the public as well as all the food trucks and the main store. we are opening early at 8am! it’s going to be a long day but i think it’s going to be an absolute blast. pray the rain holds off for everyone and we just have a fun time.

saturday night the event is over at 5pm and i feel like i’m going to just crash. but i’m debating about going out on the hunt for some house stuff just not sure where i want to go… otherwise pending the weather i’ll just stay home and keep on decluttering… i guess it depends on the weather. maybe i’ll just hit up some of my local favorite antique stores.

anyways i hope you guys come visit us this weekend at the shop! we have it stocked with tons of new arrivals and it’s just going to be fun vibes all around!
