The leaves are starting to turn here already and as much as I’m fighting it I’m slowly giving way to accepting fall is here/coming. Typically I would be jumping up and down with pumpkins on my porch and a PSL in my hand but I’m anxious about pushing the seasons along this year. Slow and steady is the name of my game this year.
Since covid has hit I’ve had more of a relaxed style. We can continue to wear jeans at the office so I’m stocking up on more relaxed apparel and also am working from home more. I find that I am still most productive when I get up and get dressed even if what I’m wearing is still loungewear.
I have been finding some amazing loungewear pieces for The Found Cottage too. The perfect sweaters for apple picking and and cozy sweats for prepping Thanksgiving dinner. These zip up ruffled cardigans are made of sweatshirt material but I love they have structure. They are cute worn open and layered with a graphic tee or zipped up and worn as a fall jacket.
I have been really in to matching sets for around the house. This outfit is one of my favorites for the weekends at the cottage because I feel relaxed but put together to go for my morning walk to coffee.
This is another one of my favorite matching sets. It’s a little heavier weight and is cute for going out for errands as well. I pair it with sandals to give it a less pajama look.
This is the ruffled zip up cardigan in cream. It is also coming soon in more colors it’s been a popular purchase at the shop!
This half zip sweatshirt reminds me of my high school tennis sweatshirt. Maybe that is why I like it so much? It’s a bit oversized but banded at the waist to give it structure. It’s super cozy paired with jeans and is the perfect top for lounging around the house or running afternoon errands.
We add new products to the site almost daily as they come in to the shop. Over quarantine we invested in an inventory scanning system that allows us to have product on the floor and the website simultaneously. Our goal is to have almost everything on the site as well as on the floor.

I love watching you and your family on the farm. We lived on a farm while raising my children. It always brings back so many memories.
I had huge garden and a ever changing variety of animals and pets. I always called it Summer tired when I fell into bed too tired to move again. It was the best tired ever !
It’s funny , my husband and I loved to spend a lot of time in Pentwater and were looking to purchase something up there when we retired.
